This comprehensive program covers the fundamentals of Ayurveda, including its aims, the eight branches (Astanga), and the concepts of body and bioenergies. It delves into Ayurvedic cosmetology, exploring the historical background, beauty concepts, importance, benefits, and classification of cosmetics. Key topics include the three bioenergies (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), seven tissue elements, waste management, digestion, and body types. The course addresses skin and face care with anatomy, physiology, and common issues like dry, oily, and sensitive skin, along with herbal preparations for face packs, body scrubs, and oils. Eye care covers anatomy, physiology, common problems, treatments, and herbal preparations such as Kajal/Anjanam/Eyekhol, including dietary and activity recommendations for eye health. Hair, nail, and foot care sections focus on anatomy, common issues, and treatments with herbal preparations. Practical sessions include Ayurvedic procedures like Nasyam, Anjanam, Shiro Abhyanga, Abhyangam, Tharpanam, foot massage, Udwarthanam, Shirodhara, face massage, Njavara Kizhi, and Pizhichil.
Final Assessment: A mandatory offline exam will be conducted at the end of the course.
Certification – A Certificate in Ayurvedic Cosmetology Advanced will be issued upon successfully finishing the course. The certificate will not be issued if the course is incomplete, the exam is not attended, or if there are any outstanding payments.
